Solve was founded in 2010 by John Carolan with a clear focus: to provide small and medium-sized businesses with the quality of financial expertise that had previously only been accessible to larger organisations. Payroll was central to that offering from the beginning.

Over the years, the business has grown significantly, with Brenda Smith joining as Operations Director in 2011 and a team of qualified accountants, payroll specialists, and bookkeepers building around a shared commitment to accuracy, compliance, and client service. Today, Solve Payroll operates from two offices in Dublin and Tullamore, providing payroll services to businesses across Ireland and the UK.
